The pension Saturn is an old building in the center of Veli Lošinj, the southern part of the island of Losinj. The guest house was completely renovated in 2005 and consists of 9 double rooms -each with private bathroom and air conditioning. Breakfast is served in the dining room on the first floor or in the cafeteria on the ground floor. The rooms are well insulated from outside noise with special windows.
Veli Losinj is a small fishing village of 1000 inhabitants and is known for its luxurious villas of former captains, as well as the villa that belonged to Archduke Charles Stephen of the Austrian Habsburgs situated on the slopes of Park Kalvarija of 140 000 m2 with trails walk or run.
Given the abundance of plant species, a large concentration of marine aerosol, an average humidity of 70%, a slight difference between the maximum and minimum temperature with an annual attendance of about 2563 hours of sunshine annually, the Losinj climate is ideal for the treatment of chronic respiratory diseases.
